Gene and Diane Crawford and their daughter, Sami Jo Crawford Poellinger, have brought my horse dreams to life. Since 1999, the Crawfords have never wavered in their efforts to find the right horse for me. Each of the four horses I purchased from them, and trained and boarded with them, has provided the fun and challenge I was seeking. With my dream horse, Docs Golightly, an own son of Zips Chocolate Chip, I have competed in AQHA shows, winning in Pleasure. Currently Doc is in cutting training with the Crawfords, who specialize in taking one horse in many directions.
The Crawfords’ professionalism is evident in their teaching and the way they train horses. They emphasize relationships, encouraging the bond between horse and rider through patient and consistent application of their proven principles. For Doc and me, this means having a great time together, whether we are on a relaxing ride or at a show.
My highest accolade: I travel between Rochester and La Crosse to board and train with the Crawfords. They go the extra mile for me, so I go the extra mile for them.
